Updated: Insuring Older Park Homes

We get a lot of enquiries about insuring older homes. Many other insurers will decline to offer cover or will charge an extortionate premium if they do offer cover.

At Paul Baker Insurance Services, we are happy to insure older homes as long as they are in a good state of repair and have been well maintained, as is often the case! We ask for photos if the park home is over 25 years old; these will show the four exterior elevations and the roof and some internal photos of the kitchen and bathroom. More often than not, the photos show homes in excellent condition that we are happy to insure.

Many of our customers are not proficient with modern technology, and the thought of sending photos across on an email can be daunting if you are not used to it. If you fall into this category, then please do not worry. Give us a call, and we will be able to talk you through it or point you in the direction of someone who can help.

Perhaps you are tech-savvy and happy to assist your neighbours when required? If so, drop us an email at enquiries@pbinsurance.co.uk, and I will add you to a list of champions and may call on you in the future if someone local to you is struggling!
